Mission
The Office of Career Services prepares the student for real life objectives and expectations regarding career and employment through the use of innovative research and learning techniques. Career Services provides quality counseling to TAMU-SA undergraduates, graduates, and alumni.
Career Services
Career Services is able to bring you some of the most modern and up-to-date counseling available. The following services are available to individuals:
- Counseling – Career Type
- Major and/or Career Exploration
- Personal Assessments (requires two sessions at 1 hour and 30 minutes each)
- Professional Correspondence Writing: résumé, cover letters, admissions essays, applications, curriculum vitas, and business cards
- Job/Career Search Strategies
- Internship Search Strategies
- Professional Etiquette Training: dress & presentation skills, and interview training
- Presentational Speaking Training
Career Services also brings to TAMU-SA campus events such as:
- Career Series Workshops
- Career & Internship Fairs
- On-Campus Interviews
- On-Campus Information Session

Appointments
In order to accommodate student services and guarantee individual time with students, Career Services operates its services through appointments only. Appointments generally run an hour in duration. During peak times in the semester Career Services may be full for several weeks. Making an early appointment is strongly recommended. See Contact information for appointments.
Hours of Operation
Appointments are available Monday – Friday. Hours available for appointments are:
- Monday & Wednesday 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Tuesday & Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Friday 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
