How do I navigate through Intranet?
Look for your department or division page located in either the top or left menus. Depending on your permissions, you may be only to see your department and the top level of other departments (if you are able to access other departments at all).
What are permissions? Why can I only see a limited amount of information on other department pages?
Permissions are assigned to faculty and staff of Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Since the function of the Intranet is to share and collaborate internally, it is important that this internal information remain secure. For questions about permission levels, please email helpdesk@tamusa.tamus.edu.
What is a path?
A path is very important in determining where the user is on the Intranet. Located just below the top menu. Paths will begin with TAMU-SA Intranet >. As you get further, for example clicking on your department's page, the path will resemble TAMU-SA Intranet > your department title >.
