Career Services is dedicated to students and alumni in assisting with choice of academic major to align with career goals, obtaining career‐related work experiences while in school, developing job search skills, and securing employment or admission to graduate or professional school. We are devoted to offering a comprehensive array of programs and services that supports and facilitates career development for all students.

The Office of Disability Support Services (DSS) is committed to ensuring equal access, full participation and reasonable accommodations by coordinating services that meet the unique educational needs of enrolled students with documented disabilities. DSS provides intake and consultation services to students seeking to apply with our office. We review all documentation to determine eligibility and appropriate accommodations. DSS works collaboratively with students as they actively participate in their academic pursuits.

International Affairs

Welcome from the International Affairs Office. We are excited about your stay at Texas A&M University-San Antonio. We are ready to assist you with any of your admission, immigration and educational needs. We offer advising, immigration guidance on various visa categories and we assist in facilitating a smooth transition to our University and your stay in the U.S., while ensuring full compliance with all U.S. federal, local and state regulations. The International Affairs Office is professionally trained to assist you and to ensure your academic experience is rewarding and successful. We look forward to serving you.

The Office of Student Counseling Services offers a series of workshops that focus on academic skill building.  The workshops cover a variety of topics and include: Concentration, Time Management, Anxiety, Finding Main Ideas, Test Taking Strategies, Study Skills, and Assessing Your Career Decisions.  All currently enrolled TAMU-SA students are welcome to attend any of our workshops and/or visit with one of our counselors in a one-on-one appointment to discuss academic concerns.

The Office of Student Counseling & Wellness Services (SCWS) provides short-term individual, couples, and family counseling services to help students address personal problems that interfere with meeting the demands of college life and their academic success. Our staff, of licensed professionals, can work with you to aide in your increasing self-awareness, improving self-confidence and acceptance, managing anxiety and stress while enhancing your ability to cope during changes and challenges, improving your decision making and communication abilities, and teaching you strategies to replace hurtful or self-defeating thoughts, feelings, and actions with healthy, adaptive, alternatives. SCWS can also assist with personal skills assessments. These skills are extremely important in achieving personal, academic and career success. Your assessment will help guide your personalized skills training by identifying your strengths and those skills which are more challenging for you. Please visit our web page for more information.

Student Life

The Office of Student Activities (OSA) administers Campus Organizations, Competitive groups, Fraternities & Sororities, Leadership Development, New Student Orientation and the Jaguar Ambassadors. We gear up year around to implement ideas and traditions to make your experience as a Jaguar one that is memorable.  Our office is located in room 339 on Main Campus. We encourage you to seek forms to get involved and see how you can make a change yourself and others.

Student Travel button

The Office of Student Life handles all travel requests for students. Student travel forms must be completed for the approved individual student, university sponsored student group, or student organization travel as indicated by TAMU-SA Student Travel Procedures. This applies to all student travel that is organized, sponsored and/or funded by the University or by an organization properly registered at the University. Students traveling on behalf of the University must obtain prior approval from the appropriate department. This applies to travel by any mode of transportation.

Tutoring Services is a free, appointment-based, one-on-one and/or group tutoring program for students in the following subjects: Accounting, Advanced Math, Behavioral Statistics and Finance.  We also offer writing tutoring to students from all disciplines at any stage of the writing process.
